Charleston-based, with a nationwide reach, we spotlight creative projects and amplify the incredible work being done in this space. Ashley Hay Mitchell
Ashley is a natural at making connections and acting as a bridge between creative individuals. She’s most comfortable when she’s networking.
Much of Ashley's career has focused on marketing hospitality brands. After five years as a photographer for Down South Publishers on Hilton Head Island, Ashley moved to Charleston where she spent 10 years handling marketing and PR for luxury hotel and restaurant brands. Ashley has a passion for the stories behind food culture and loves the energy of a restaurant operation. In 2018, Ashley took the leap and opened her own firm, Haystack Media Co.
Ashley serves on the board of Slow Food Charleston, a global organization working for good clean fair food for all. In her free time, you can find Ashley in her backyard garden or fishing the Lowcountry waterways with her husband.
